Carragher believes Liverpool enter the market in panic. Despite six weeks of absence from Thiago.
Guru Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool will not panic about buying new players. After they lost Thiago Alcantara in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Fulham.
The Spain international is out for up to six weeks after picking up a hamstring injury in the first game of the season. Leaving Jurgen Klopp with just five players left in the midfield. Prompting calls from the Spaniards. Football fans and people involve. Who want to see the team enter the market again to find new players to add to the army urgently.
However, Carragher believes his former club won’t be too alarmed about buying new players. But if he finds a player who really wants, he wants the team to draw in to strengthen the army as well.
“Liverpool’s success in the transfer market has not come from panic. That’s not what they’ve done in the past. It’s not what you’re doing right now. And they won’t do that in the future.”
“If the market doesn’t have the midfielders they need at all. It will not draw anyone to join the team. But if they feel like they’ve found the right person and can afford it. I would definitely like to see them do that. But it must not be a panic purchase,” Carragher said.
