Manchester City midfielder Matheus Nunes has revealed that the timing of his winning goal against Aston Villa was perfect.
Manchester City looked to be on course for a point as they battled to a Champions League place at home to their arch-rivals Aston Villa, but Matej Nunes struck in 90+4 minutes of stoppage time to secure a narrow 2-1 victory and move up to third in the table.

Guardiola’s side are still in contention to earn silverware before the end of the domestic season, with an FA Cup semi-final encounter with Nottingham Forest this Sunday.
Nunes revealed that the team want to keep this winning feeling going into that competition also.
“We’re going to try to win there as well. Of course we want to lift the trophy,” he declared.
“It is a very important game for us to try and win the semi-final and then go for the final.
