Portugal midfielder Joao Palhinha admits the summer of 2025 will be a dark time in his career. With the question of whether he will remain at Bayern Munich next football season or move on.

The Bavarians paid an initial €51m to sign Palhinha from Fulham last summer. But the 29-year-old has struggled for game time, making just 24 appearances in all competitions. Failing to score or provide an assist. And the club are understood to be looking to offload the Portuguese. สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่

That made him feel less comfortable than he should have. But he was ready to find the best solution for all parties involved.

“I have three years left on my contract with Bayern Munich.” He told Sky Sport Deutsche Land after Portugal’s 2-1 Nations League semi-final win over Germany yesterday.

“We have to discuss with the trainer and the sports director whether there are still opportunities here.”

“If they say no, then we’ll see what happens next. But my dream is to succeed at Bayern because not everyone can join them easily.”

“Life has its challenges. I am proud to have had the opportunity to play for Bayern. There is no reason to be disappointed.”

“If I have the chance to become the Bundesliga champion. I hope that other competitions will follow. Personally, I am always ready to fight, even if the future is uncertain.”

Palinha’s empathetic and leaderly personality is what makes him stand out. In the game at the Munich Arena yesterday, he consoled Bayern teammates Serge Gnabry and Aleksandar Pavlovic who looked disappointed.

“I spoke with Gnabry and Pavlovic – the rest of the Bayern team-mates looked very disappointed,” Palhinha added.

“They congratulated me on reaching the final, and we just told them that we’ll meet again next week because there’s the Club World Cup.”
